Description:
A photomultiplier tube (PMT) has very low noise levels allowing the current generated by incident light to be multiplied over a million times to where individual photons can be detected.
The 7ID101-CR131 Photomultiplier Tube covers the 185 to 900 nm range with a peak wavelength of 400 nm. The 7ID101-1P28 Photomultiplier Tube covers the 185 to 650 nm range with a peak wavelength of 340 nm. PMTs are the most sensitive single channel detector offered, making them an excellent choice for low-light measurements.
